Interesting interpretation of the verse Rebbe:
אֶל־הָגָר֙ מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַיֹּ֥אמֶר לָ֖הּ מַה־לָּ֣ךְ הָגָ֑ר
I read that “ From the heavens the Angel called down to Hagar and asked “ What is wrong?” Not “ Where are you going and Where do you come from”? That is some very expansive midrash on your part to make a point, although it is a fine one I guess.

You caught me Tommy, I did fudge a little bit and combined stories. The first time Hagar flees from Abraham and Sarah the angel asks her these questions about going and coming (that falls in parashat Lech Lecha) but I used the parallel in the story in Vayera to bring it it. Thanks for the close read, friend.
