Bright Lights in Boston

Bright Lights in Boston

We are all still struggling with the tragedy in Boston. I was talking with someone the other day who said, “We all know who did it.”

“Who?” I asked.

“The fundamentalists.”

Yes, that’s right. It doesn’t matter which fundamentalists, but some type of fundamentalist did this…someone who believes that he or she is right, and that others are wrong, and that their “rightness” is more important than the humanity and lives of others, that their truth is more important than peace.

They way to overcome inhumanity is with more humanity, which is why I love this link–showing in the face of unspeakable tragedy, the brightest light can shine–through the acts of lovingkindness one shows to another.
